Teamwork Tuesday ~ Harlen

Mr Harlen is a 6 1/2 year old boy with Down syndrome. I'm pretty partial to chubby cheeks so I think he is absolutely perfect. There isn't much information on his profile through Reece's Rainbow but it does state on there that more pictures are available for him, so if you are interested in pursuing Harlen contact Andrea at Reece's Rainbow. Although there isn't very much info on little Harlen I can provide more information on the requirements to adopt in his region.

    Vitaliy has a family!

I have been beyond ecstatic the past couple weeks since finding out that Vitaliy has a family coming for him! I know so many families have fallen in love with that precious boy but none have been able to commit until now, and I have to say the family is perfect. Jenny and her husband live in Ga with their 2 boys and newly adopted daughter. They funded the adoption of their daughter themselves so you can imagine how drained they are to fund Vitaliy's adoption. If it wasn't for this amazing family Vitaliy would have most likely been transferred in Sept when he turned 4. I'm am so grateful that many prayers have been answered and he will never have to step foot in an institution. Now we need to get this family funded since adopting in his region isn't cheap! Fundraisers are to come.

To learn more about Vitaliy's family and their journey follow their blog at: http://whatisunseeniseternal.blogspot.com/ (You can also donate to the Moyer family via ChipIn)

If you would like to donate through Reece's Rainbow which is tax-deductible you can send a check to: Reece's Rainbow
    PO Box 4024
    Gaithersburg, MD 20885

(and make sure you put "Moyer Family" in the memo so they know it is for sweet Vitaliy.)

    Teamwork Tuesday ~ Preston

This week, Preston is the highlighted child. He is already 6 years old and is facing imminent institutionalization so we need to find him a family fast! I actually think of this little boy quite often. I can't wrap my mind around why he hasn't been rescued yet, he is so handome! He has bright blue eyes, sandy blonde hair and is described as being smart, active and social. As far as his medical conditions go, his profile says he has a hard condition but doesn't specify what type. He also has enlarged tonsils which are very common and enlarged adenoids. To donate or to view his profile through Reece's Rainbow follow this link: http://reecesrainbow.org/4127/preston-2h
